Common Questions Before You Buy

Are relays and fuses included?
No, the box itself is pre wired but relays and fuses are sold separately. This is standard for relay boxes so you can size the relays and fuses to match your specific circuits.
What relays fit?
Standard 4 or 5 pin automotive relays (Bosch style) fit the 6 slots. These are widely available at auto parts stores.
Is it really waterproof?
Splashproof and dustproof yes, fully submersible no. The upper and bottom covers block out splashing water and road dust but the box shouldn't sit in standing water.
How much current can it handle?
12 AWG wiring on the high power side supports significant current per circuit. Each relay's amp limit depends on the specific relay you install (typically 30 to 40A per relay).
Where should I mount it?
Engine bay (away from direct heat sources), under dash, in the boot, or anywhere accessible for replacing relays. Choose a sheltered spot to minimise water and dust exposure.
